Dove Fund

Financial Donations

What is a Dove Fund?

Dove Funds enable you to remember and celebrate the life of a loved one or friend, as well as contributing to the vital work of our charity. Anyone can donate or raise money for the Dove Fund, now and as far into the future as they wish. We can also make sure that all donors who choose to be kept informed know how the fund is progressing. Now there is a lasting way to commemorate the life of someone special.

A Memorial Donation is a fitting way to remember a special person, while at the same time helping others.

There are 2 ways you can make memorial donations;

Dove Funds are a lovely way to create a permanent memorial to your loved one, as well as ensuring that our important work can continue. You can set up a fund in their name in a few minutes allowing friends, relatives and colleagues to make donations. You can start the fund online or we can do it for you. You may like to make a simple one-off donation towards the work of The VCC in memory of a loved one, friend or colleague. For memorial donations of £50 or more a Memorial Certificate, suitable for framing, inscribed in your name and that of the deceased, will be specially prepared for you at your request. Mental Health Development Projects

Since June 2010 the VCC Centre has been working in partnership with the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLAM) at their Deptford drop-ins.

Dream Garden

On Tuesday 25th May, a group of staff from Goldman Sachs International helped Claudia Mark to get more from her garden.

Sponsored Abseil - July 2010

On Sunday 4th July 2010 6 fearless Volunteers abseiled down Kings College Hospitals tower block to raise money for our services.

St. Augustine's Summer Fete

VCC volunteers manned a stall at St. Augustines summer fete on Saturday 26th June.

Lewisham People's Day

On the 10th July the VCC attended Lewishams People Day in Mountsfield Park; this year saw the 26th year of this ever popular event.

View to Kew Gardens

On July 30th a group of thirty VCC service users and volunteers were treated to a fabulous day at Kew Gardens.
