What can you do to help VCC?

Help your neighbours in need right now and just text a donation to VCC by texting VCCF23 followed by an amount to 70070. EG vccf23 £5 will donate Five Pounds to VCC.

We are hoping that some of you might take on some of the ideas from the Spring 2011 Newsletter or from the Summer 2011 Newsletter. Or maybe one or more of the other ideas listed here.

Perhaps you might like to arrange your own fundraising event and raise money in aid of VCC and link your online donations page to the VCC Virgin Money Giving profile located at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/charity-web/charity/finalCharityHomepage.action?charityId=1003989

You can help us quite simply by searching the web through the following search engine which donates a pence to VCC each time you use this weblink http://voluntarycarecentre.easysearch.org.uk. Perhaps you might set this link as your new homepage.

In the run up to Christmas or if you are buying birthday or other presents if you use our Amazon button displayed on every webpage on the VCC website Amazon will make a small donation to VCC.

If you like shopping once you register with http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/voluntarycarecentre then every time you shop online at any of the stores listed with easy fundraising through the link above and this includes a large number of popular high street stores VCC will receive a small donation. So from the comfort of your own chair you can both shop for yourself and help VCC all at the same time.

If you don't fancy any of our suggestions perhaps you might like to take a look at some other fundraising pages with ideas about how you could fundraise for VCC http://www.ideasfundraising.co.uk/

Have you completed a giftaid form, if you pay tax please do try and do this and send it to VCC so that VCC can claim 25p for every £1 donated to them.

If you are a volunteer maybe you could tell people about VCC as they may be interested in volunteering with VCC. Perhaps you might link to VCC online via facebook or twitter. If you are interested in volunteering do either come into the office at 300 Stanstead Road, SE23 1DE or call 0208 291 1747 or email info@voluntarycarecentre.co.uk or you can complete a contact form.

If you would like to follow us on facebook, as Voluntary Care Centre.

If you want to follow us on twitter, we are called vcc_tweets.

Financial donations to VCC

Have you had a bit of a windfall maybe you could spare a little something to assist VCC?

Getting married? Got a birthday or a celebration? But not really wanting anything special perhaps you might ask your friends to make a donation in your name to VCC and we will happily list you as a supporter. You can do this via our paypal donations button on this page. (code for donations button goes in here)

It is possible to help VCC by ensuring you have paid your VCC friends subscription either my cheque or online via our paypal button.

If you would like to set up a regular donation to VCC please do get in touch, we will be so pleased to hear from you.

If you wish to donate to VCC via paypal you can do so if you have a paypal account, equally you can do this with your debit or credit card using paypal if you go through our paypal button on our website.

If you would like to donate via post please do get in touch via our office address 300 Stanstead Road, London, SE23 1DE.

Did you know that you can now allow VCC to receive your tax return if you do not want it. Please contact the office and ask for VCC's SA number which you would need to quote to HMRC and you make a donation to VCC that way as HMRC will refund your donation to VCC instead.

If your employer operates payroll giving perhaps you might ask them to allow you to donate this way to VCC. If they have any queries they should contact the VCC office in order to set this up. We have been informed recently that if you have this set up you will be able to manage this yourself shortly via a new free smartphone app where you control your own payroll giving. Payroll giving occurs before any tax is deducted from your salary.

Currently there is a campaign running called remember a charity in your will. It would be great if you could remember the Voluntary Care Centre in yours. Apparently the state earned 18 million pounds last year from people who passed away without making a will.

The phone is such an integral part of our daily lives that we often take it for granted. However, if you have a couple of minutes to spare, it can be an extremely effective way of making a charitable donation. All you have to do is phone us with your credit or debit card at the ready and mention that you have visited the website. Please call us on 020 8291 1747 and we will be happy to talk you through the system and accept your donation. If you would like to pay by cheque, please make it out to
