The Voluntary Care Centre is the working name for the Forest Hill &
Sydenham Voluntary Service Association Ltd, which was founded in 1969. Our
organisation is a registered Charity (No: 266585) and a company limited
by guarantee (No: 1131214) and operates within the London Borough of Lewisham.

We provide an easily accessible support service and a focal point for those
in need within the local community, delivering direct services such as gardening,
befriending, shopping, DIY, wheelchair pushing, driving & escorting.
We operate a fund to assist financially where most needed, for relief in
crisis situations, and to promote social inclusion.
We recruit, train and place volunteers in voluntary activities which develop
their skills and confidence and enhance the quality of life of the service
users. We promote volunteering and volunteering opportunities and we work
to identify new opportunities for volunteering.

If you live within the London borough of Lewisham and fulfil the individual
