Volunteers are very much a part of the team at the VCC. In fact all our receptionists are volunteers, as well as many of those helping out behind the scenes, including administrative, publicity, finance and fundraising volunteers. We frequently attend fetes and hold small scale events as well as providing practical assistance to families on low incomes in the form of children’s safety equipment, clothes, prams, cots and much more. So we always need people to help us sort and organise our storage areas. Office volunteers usually have a regular time they help out each week perhaps a whole day or a morning or afternoon once a week. You do not necessarily need office experience as our staff can provide you with training and support.
