The VCC relies on the generous support of many charitable trusts and foundations in helping us to deliver our aim of funding the organisation. VCC are looking at a number of grants and other means of increasing its income as the amount of money it is awarded has been cut quite dramatically at a time when the need for the services we provide is increasing. If you would like to know more about the various avenues we are exploring to try to make up our financial shortfall please do get in touch via info@voluntarycarecentre.co.uk. We hope that you will be able to support us in one way or another.

Legacies

By remembering The VCC in your will, you are contributing to the development and caring of the local community. We recognise that a legacy is one of the most personally significant gifts you are likely to make and we stress the importance of seeking legal advice to ensure your wishes are properly expressed in your Will. A carefully considered and current Will means that the people and the charitable causes you care about will benefit. Legacies are an increasingly important source of income for charities and The VCC has been fortunate in the support it has received from our donors through this form of giving. This generosity has enabled us this to fund the many successful research projects that have contributed to the development of improved treatments and less invasive diagnostic tools.

We have teamed up with Remember A Charity to encourage more people to consider leaving a gift to charities in their will, after they've looked after their family and friends. You can find out more about Remember A Charity here.

From The VCC's point of view, the most useful gift is the non-specific legacy, which can be applied to whichever area of service that we provide that seems most in need at the relevant time. However, we recognise that individuals may want to make a more specific gift and this type of bequest is, of course, also welcomed. We sincerely hope that if you do decide to make some kind of provision in our favour, VCC does not have to act on this until some far distant point in the future. Everyone can leave the world a better place. Please consider remembering VCC in your Will.
